1. The service
Startup Costs lets teams record expenses, income and partner contributions. It is a bookkeeping aid, not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for everything done with it. Keep access to your email secure, because it is how you sign in.
3. Your data
Data you enter belongs to you and your company. Company owners decide who can access it. Every change is recorded in an audit log that shows who made it and when, and that log cannot be edited.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, to attempt unauthorised access, or to disrupt it.
5. Availability and liability
The service is provided as is, without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or that figures (including currency conversions based on rates you enter) are accurate. To the extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect losses.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will ask you to accept the new version.
